This one tiny beach on the island of Salina in Sicily… I dream of the fresh-pressed panini they make seaside, and the sound of the tide rushing over the large basalt pebbles.

What do you most deplore and most love about where you live?

I love that it’s new and unfamiliar—and I deplore that, all at the same time. Also, we don’t have a great market like Cookbook (someone please open one!).

Force less, allow more.
