Southwestern Utah.

Where could you return to again and again?

Anywhere in Italy, again and again and again...

When and where were you the happiest?

Having lunch with my family at Lo Scoglioin the heart of Marina del Cantone on the Amalfi Coast. Oh, and enjoying the proper Negroni at Camparino in Galleria - Piazza, Duomo, Milano.

What’s your favorite place to take a friend
visiting from out of town?

Taking aride up through the Hudson Valley to catch up and go antique shopping, hitting a few local spots for a coffee, then lunch, then farm made ice cream.

Where is your favorite place to work?

Home in my firelit studio listening to Sigur Røs (untitled) on repeat from 11pm-6am while everyone is asleep.

What do you consider the lowest depth of misery when you go out for dinner or drinks?

I have many... Overcrowdedness, bad acoustics, an overly set table, tight seating, crummy playlist, poor lighting, bad service and the lack of a proper Luxardo Cherry in my Old Fashioned.

What taste or flavor do you most crave?

A perfect pour of Japanese Whiskey.

What current trend drives you mad?

Influencer culture. Unauthentic commentary and opinions that are overhyped and overrated.

What is your greatest extravagance?

Art Books, Vintage Records, Aged Scotch and Silence.

What would you be doing if you weren’t doing your current job?

Earning my way to becoming a Master Distiller or oil painting in Spain.

Where would you most like to live?

I <3 NY. But It's a3 way tie - In a Trulli on an olive grove in Puglia, a farmhouse on a vineyard in Napa, a mountainside challet on an apple orchard in Washington State.

What quality do you like most and least in a travel partner?

They must share similar interests. Be open minded and look to journey together through the lense of discovery and inspiration. I want to spend time learning, growing and feeling. Not babysitting...

What commonly praised quality do you believe is overhyped or overvalued?

Expectations. Have trust in your people and believe in the process...

What is your most treasured possession?

My family, my health, my talent.

What do you regret spending money on?

A bad meal.

What do you most deplore and most love about where you live?

I love the quiet lifestyle, natural beauty and proximity to my family. I deplore the lack of entertainment and quality food/drink options. Although, there are some notable gems.
